Initial Session
In the initial session we hope to get to know you, hear your story, and gain an understanding of your desires for counselling. If you're unsure where to begin or you're feeling lost about this process, rest assured we will meet you where you are at and hold space for self discovery. Our goal for the first session is to encourage a a sense of hope and self-empowerment. After the first session, clients report feeling relieved and capable of changing their perspective and circumstances.

Many people inquire about how many counselling sessions are typical or expected for their situation. Our therapists have no set agenda for how often you should meet. Depending on your needs and availability, sessions may occur weekly, biweekly, monthly or as desired.
